Come and learn the key steps to preparing the perfect cup of premium Japanese Tea. Sample the flavours of a variety of our Japanese Teas from Chado Tea House.

This special event will take you through the key steps to preparing and storing Japanese teas: Matcha, Sencha and Genmaicha; as well as detail of the farms they are from and their growing conditions.
Correct preparation of loose-leaf Japanese tea is critical to enjoyment. The demonstration will show you that it’s not as challenging as it may seem. Your host will help you understand the basics of brewing, including using the right amount of tea leaves, the correct temperature of water and steeping time. At the end of the night you too will be able to brew the perfect cup of tea.
Sample a variety of our Japanese Teas and enjoy with a piece of our famous Honey Almond Cake.
Your host for the event will be Fumi Shimaro, founder of Chado Tea House, a purveyor of the very best Japanese tea available. Her pursuit for excellence takes her to the finest tea producing regions throughout Japan.
Your admission fee of $5.00 plus a 10% discount will be applied to any purchase of our Japanese Teas during the event.
